Brief History:

People often ask about karate and its origins. The overview of Karate is the same regardless of style or organization. No matter who is telling the story there are basic facts you can learn from every Nihonjin (Japanese) and Okinawian (resident of Okinawa) style of Karate. The short version is it came from China to Okinawa and spread to Japan. Our school is currently certified through the WSKF (World Shito-Kai Federation). Trained by Shihan Murayama and the leadership of Ted Rabino our school is in sync with that of the main dojo in Japan.
