Like many sports Karate is a great way to improve concentration and fitness, but for the dedicatied martial artists Karate is a "do" (dough) or way of being. If you are looking to give yourself or your child a higher sense of physical and mental understanding then Karate may be the answer.

At white belt Students learn

Basics:
(kicks, punches, etc,)
Basic and advanced grabs: (grappling), Kata: (moves to understand applications)
Sparring: (2 person practice to hone skill)

Learning these drills in combination with dojo(training hall) manners, and other skills such as awareness, will tune the student into not only how to fight, but more importantly how to avoid fighting.

We are one of the few groups to be directly tested and reviewed by teachers from our head school in Saitama Japan. Not only are you learning from a school with over 30 years experience in Springfield, you are also learning directly under the Masters who teach the style worldwide.
